VW Festival 2017 – Our Pictures

VW Festival 2017

VW Festival is the UK’s largest family friendly VW show based at Harewood House, near Leeds. It is a full weekend of live entertainment, live music, VW’s galore and a great venue with a laid back atmosphere. The show was established in 2005 and now receiving 21,000 attendance, it offers something for everyone.

Each year they put on displays containing groups of awesome vehicles. The displays run over the Saturday and Sunday, with Trophies will be awarded to the most impressive, interesting or innovative vehicles on each display. This years categories where Air Cooled, Mk1 Golf, Ratty VW, Herbie-style Beetles, Movie cars and VW beach-buggies. Rachael being the proud owner of the orange mk1 Golf, she applied for the mk1 Golf stand.

The car got a lot of attention on the display and didn’t look out of place with the other mk1 Golfs 🙂

The weekend was brilliant and the little bit of rain didn’t dampen anyone’s spirits. Have a look through some of the pictures we captured over the weekend…

Blyton Park Track Day August 2015

Blyton Park

Back in August we attended at track day at Blyton Park near Gainsborough in Lincolnshire. Blyton Park offers a fun and challenging 1.6 mile track day circuit. The new high grip surface has excellent run off and is therefore ideal for beginners where as the more technical layout of the Eastern Circuit is more suited to an experienced driver or rider.

Our track day was organised through Javelin and we took the orange VW MK1 Golf out on the track. After the drivers briefing we went out for a sighting lap to allow you to become familiar with the layout of the track. It was a gloriously hot day and there was plenty of tasty cars out on the track.

Have a browse through some of the photographs we got on the day.
